Every two years, the circumpolar world gathers to compete at the Arctic Winter Games, and Northern News Services reporters are there. The 2016 edition is hosted by Nuuk, Greenland, with a hockey tournament in neighbouring Iqaluit, Nunavut, Canada. Team Nunavut and Team NWT will join Teams Alaska, Alberta North, Greenland, Nunavik Québec, Sapmi, Yamal, and Yukon in aiming to bring home the most ulus, while sharing a cultural experience.
